2009 Graduates Secure Representation By Top London Agent
Carla Nicholls and Duncan Roe graduates from the 2008/9 PA Recorded Media Pathway at Bath Spa University have been signed by top London agents Macfarlane-Chard.

Carla has been taken as an actress and Duncan as a director & film maker (see below).

Earlier in the year Carla had won a national acting competition in which the first prize was a speaking part in E4's Bristol based teen drama Skins. The competition opened in October 2008 and entrants had to film themselves performing a scripted monologue provided by Skins and upload it to the Skins website. At the end of November the producers of Skins asked 10 people to travel to London to audition for the Casting Director of Skins, Jane Ripley. A week after the audition Skins contacted Carla to let her know that they'd chosen her to appear in an episode that would be filmed the following week. They shot the scene over two days in Bristol, one day on location and one at the Skins studio. The episode was broadcast on the 19th of March, 2009, at 10pm on E4. Here's Carla's original audition tape from the E4 website.

For more information about the competition and shortlisting see Carla's E4 upload pages
